POLARITY THERAPY TRAINING is offered at four levels of education. These increasingly advanced levels are designed to equip graduates with progressively deeper understanding, more extensive knowledge and skills, and an ever wider range of therapeutic protocols to confidently and effectively practice as Polarity Therapy practitioners.

SCROLL DOWN FOR DESCRIPTIONS OF EACH TRAINING LEVEL.

All four training levels explore the four energy-based pillars of Polarity Therapy:
  • Body work;
  • Therapeutic movement - aka Polarity "Yoga";
  • Self awareness;
  • Energy based dietary considerations.

Polarity Therapy training levels offered:
  1. Introductory Certificate Polarity Therapy - ICPT.
    12 credit hours.
    Awarded as a Certificate of Achievement after two days/ four training sessions.
    This certificate does not qualify participants as Polarity Therapists.
    All intending higher level students of Polarity Therapy must undertake this level first.
    Credited towards the next level training and also can be used as a CEU.
  2. Affirmed Polarity Therapist - APT.
    "Diploma" equivalent. 178 cumulative credit hours.
    Combined total of hours comprises the Intro Certificate plus new credit hours, including clinical practice hours.
    The APT equips graduates to commence practice as first level Polarity Therapists.
    It is also credited towards subsequent levels of training and practice.
  3. Professional Polarity Therapy Practitioner - PPTP.
    Post-Diploma equivalent. 685 cumulative credit hours.

    A stand-alone, professional level requiring an additional 507 credit hours after the APT. This higher level equips graduates with more extensive knowledge, deeper skills and refined capabilities so that they are better able to serve their clients as Polarity Therapy Practitioners.
    APT graduates may apply to enter this training after 3 months to 2 years of post-APT practice and must have demonstrated 70 additional independent practice hours.
  4. Consulting Polarity Practitioner - CPP.
    815 cumulative credit hours.
    A stand alone post-training level requiring 130 hours of further supervision after the PPTP, while simultaneously maintaining a professional practice.

    This level of training is predominantly clinical supervision and case study based, while also delving deeply into more arcane aspects of Polarity Therapy.
    Participants at this level are also required to begin offering Introductory Polarity Therapy training to the public. Rationale: Teaching tells you very clearly what you have or haven't really grasped: You have to know it before you can teach it.

    Prior to applying for entry to the program, intending applicants must have been practicing independently for a minimum of 2 years after graduating from the PPTP program with a demonstrable minimum of 180 practice hours.

CONFERRING ENTITY: All training and completion documents, whether provided to participants in the U.S., Australia, internationally, or online (i.e. Polarity Yoga) are issued under the mantle of 6th Dimension™, a division of a U.S. limited liability company (LLC). Students and graduates will be able to apply to the International Institute of Complementary Therapists for student insurance, practitioner membership and practitioner insurance.
NOTE:
IN-PERSON practitioner training remains subject to our COVID-safe policy, depending on prevailing conditions at the time of training.
